PhotoImpact is an excellent graphics program that's both powerful and easy to learn. These links will serve as a guide to some of the many tutorials available. Doing the tutorials helps you learn the program in far less time.

This site offers links to PhotoImpact tutorials with a short description of the tutorial. It also features a Tut-of-the-day where they showcase a different tutorial each day.

Carol Brookbank's Tutorials
Carol has a nice variety in her tutorials including how to straighten a crooked picture. Her Merging Magic tutorial explains those mysterious Merge options that are found in the Object Properties box. Others tutorials include making a stained glass picture, embossing a background tile, adding metalic highlights to a photograph, making etched glass, creating a snow globe and quite a few more.

Creations by Dawn
Here's another treasure chest of tutorials. Dawn teaches you how to make objects and how to use them, how to make "ruffles", using masks, and even a tutorial for making a complete web page set.

Debisty Designs
A treasure chest of tutorials can be found here, many of which are suitable for beginners to PI including the optimising and saving of a .gif or .jpg image, and the where is it in PI 7 tuts. More advanced users are sure to find something to their liking too and will no doubt find the perspective tutorials of great interest!

Hillie's PI Tutorials
Get creative making a child's pendant, comic art, mandalas, a marble statue and try out some unusual painting methods. Learn PI's tools such as easy selection to make a bear, masking using the Calculation tool, adding effects to images, the Quick Command Panel. A large number of tutorials for you to enjoy. Have fun.

IrishMiss PhotoImpact Tutorials
Do you like gems? If so, you won't want to miss Irene's excellent gem making tutorials. She has several as well as one for making snowglobes, an engraved effect on a button, and more. These gems are great!

Joan's PI Basic Tutorials
If you're a beginner at PI, Joan Fahlgren's site is a great place to get started. She covers the basics for using things like fills, changing contrast, picking colors and a whole lot of other things that are important to learn.

My Space
Claudia tutorial gives you detailed instructions on how to make a fabulous yellow rose. She walks you through the steps for making each and every petal. The end results are very exciting. You'll create a masterpiece that will make you feel proud of yourself.

PhotoImpact Snapshots
If you don't like reading a lot of information, you'll love these wonderful little snapshot tutorials. Sheryl has taken all of the snapshots created by various users in this popular format and put them on one single site. This is a "must visit" site. You'll learn to make everything from dreamcatchers to Christmas trees and much more.

PhotoImpactZone
Kelly has a wonderful tutorial that teaches you methods for utilizing the merge function to create some very striking effects. The results are stunning and no two seem to come out the same. For those who like something a bit out of the ordinary, this is a must!

RAPartZ
Want to know how to do object clone painting? Here's where you can find out all about it. Work through a very detailed tutorial on how to create a work of art using only cloned objects. They also offer 10 really nice object clone files to use with this tutorial as well as other projects.

Scriptorium - Colorizing 19th Century Lithographs
This presentation isn't based on any particular program, but the techniques used could easily be adapted in PhotoImpact to make stunning color pictures from your old black and white photographs.

Servant Designs
Pam has an interesting tutorial on how to create a lovely framed flower that hangs out over the edge of the picture frame called an Inside-Out Frame.

Sparrowz World
Several tutorials for digital painting in PI 8 geared to the advanced user but a beginning painter could follow them too if they are familiar with the location of the various tools. Also tutorials for objects. Small number but growing.

Sundog Creations
A nice selection of tutorials for Pi 6 & 7. Polly's tutorials lean toward the country style and are easy enough that a newer user can follow with ease. You'll love these whimsical designs.

Tena's Tutorials
Like those stage curtains with swags? Let Tena show you how to make them! You'll find a step-by-step tutorial that walks you through the whole process from the swag to the side and all the decorations. You'll also find a number of other very nice tutorials.

The Baye Window
This site features intermediate level tutorials. Learn to use the path tool to create a Clock in the shape of a Church and a Stained Glass Name Tile. It also includes tutorials for creating Pixel Art which include a Mind lock Illusion, A Victorian Sofa, Pixel Lace, and much more. The tutorials were written for PI8 but will work well in any highter version.

TG Designs by Vicki
If you like Native American designs, you'll love Vicki's tutorials. She has some excellent tutorials that teach you how to make a Wedding Vase, a Warbonnet, Talking Stick, Medicine Wheel, with more to come!

Ulead Learning Center
A collection of tutorials for PhotoImpact 5, 6, and 7. Most are repeats of tutorials found at other sites but has some new ones in the area of web design.

Viking's Web Animation
A beginner's guide to making animated gif images with Ulead GIF Animator 5. The GIF Animator 5 Basics tutorial covers all the essentials you will need to get started, and there are several other useful tutorials as well. Create your graphics in PhotoImpact, then animate them in Gif Animator.

Wishing Well Tutorials
This site features a large collection of tutorials including creating an animated name with feather and inkwell, Making Gingham, Making Polkadots, Making Plaid, Color Spot Photos and much more. You'll also find some pre-made kits where you download the parts and color to suit youself. Tutorials are classified as beginner and intermediate.
